# Array - Access Element - JavaScript

Array indexes are 0 based.

Given the array:
```javascript
let scores = [55, 45, 51, 47, 52];
```
**How would you get the value of the 3rd score 
in the arrray?**

```javascript
let score = scores[2];
```

Array indexes are 0 based. 

* `scores[0]` -> 1st element
* `scores[1]` -> 2nd element
* etc.
