# Bearer Token

A token sent as "Authorization: Bearer ..."; whoever has it is treated as the user.

## What is **Bearer Token**?

A **bearer token** is sent in the `Authorization: Bearer ...` header. Whoever holds ("bears") it is treated as the user, so it must be kept secret and short-lived.
