# Comment

A note between /\* and \*/ that is ignored by CSS.

## How do you write a **comment** in CSS?

A **comment** is a note for people reading the code. CSS ignores anything between `/*` and `*/`.

/* Brand colors for the checkout page */
.checkout-button { background: #0a7; }
```
