# Flex shrink

How much a flex item shrinks when space is short.

## What does `flex-shrink` do?

`flex-shrink` says how much an item gives up when there isn't enough room. `0` means "don't shrink".

.logo { flex-shrink: 0; }   /* the logo never gets squashed */
```
