Object-Oriented Programming

A way of organizing code around objects that bundle data with the actions that use it.

What is Object-Oriented Programming?

Object-oriented programming (OOP) is a way of organizing code around objects: bundles of data plus the actions that work on that data. A BankAccount object holds a balance and knows how to deposit and withdraw. Most popular languages (Java, C#, Python, TypeScript) support it.

var account = new BankAccount("Maria");
account.Deposit(100);
Console.WriteLine(account.Balance); // 100
