# Scroll margin

Leaves space around an element when scrolled to it.

## What does `scroll-margin` do?

`scroll-margin` leaves space above an element when the page scrolls to it, so a sticky header doesn't cover it.

```css
h2 { scroll-margin-top: 80px; }   /* clears the 80px sticky header */
```
