The three-digit result number: 2xx success, 4xx client error, 5xx server error.

## What is **Status Code**?

A **status code** is the three-digit number at the start of every response: **2xx** success, **3xx** go elsewhere, **4xx** the client made a mistake, **5xx** the server failed.
