# Sticky positioning

Scrolls normally, then sticks once it reaches a set point.

## What is `position: sticky`?

**Sticky** positioning lets an element scroll normally until it reaches a point, then stick there, like a table header that stays visible.

```css
.site-header { position: sticky; top: 0; }
```
